Pebbled leather should be wiped gently with a soft, dry cloth to maintain its appearance and stored away from prolonged moisture or direct sunlight when not in use. Oil pull-up leather is rich in natural oils and will develop tonal variations and light markings with use; these are a natural characteristic of the leather and contribute to its patina. Minor marks can often be reduced by gently rubbing the surface with a dry cloth to redistribute the oils. Avoid over-conditioning oil pull-up leather. When conditioning is required, apply a small amount of a neutral, leather-specific conditioner or colourless natural beeswax that is free from silicones or solvents, using sparingly and testing first on an inconspicuous area.
