Oil pull-up leather is rich in natural oils and will develop a distinctive patina over time; light marks and colour variations are part of its character and can often be reduced by gently buffing with a dry cloth to redistribute the oils. Avoid over-conditioning oil pull-up leather, as excess products may darken or alter the finish. When conditioning is needed, use only a very small amount of a neutral, leather-specific conditioner or colourless natural beeswax that is free from silicones or solvents, applying sparingly and testing first on an inconspicuous area.
